What a spectacular wedding celebration! But even more so what a truly special couple.

Melissa came to me when I was pregnant with Lachlan interested in working with me and my team for her 2017 wedding. With a wedding date nearly two years away plus a quickly approaching due date of my first baby, I wasn’t sure what would be best in serving this couple the way they deserve. Yet after lots of conversation we started working together right before L’s birth day to lock in some important elements like the talented Kelly Sweet and the beautiful Loft 310 in Kalamazoo. From there, everything started to fall into place so beautifully. And I believe (Melissa would echo my words here) that with our help she and Tim really truly enjoyed being engaged without the added stress and time crunch of planning their wedding alone. I love that so much. It’s the heartbeat of what we do as planners and designers.

Melis and Tim, we love you two. You were so receptive to ideas and professional guidance which made planning and designing your wedding such a fun process. But aside from our checklists and timelines, you both provided us with such joy! I loved seeing your wedding come together so beautifully but best of all felt honored to witness how loved and cherished you are by your really awesome families and friends. There’s something special about you two and that was abundantly clear on July 15th.
